The Underground Rome Tour will start with the Roman Houses on the Caelian Hill, situated under the Basilica of the Saints John and Paul to the Celio. According to tradition, St. John and St. Paul were martyred there in 362 A.D.
They are an amazing architectonical solution of tree Roman houses which contain more than 20 frescoed underground rooms dated between the 2nd and the 4th Century A.C.
The visit of St. Clemente built in the XII cent. is very interesting because you will realize how was the passage between paganism and christianism.
We also include the visit of St. Peter's in Chain where you can admire one of the masterpiece by Michelangelo: "Moses".
